"TWISTED SHEETS" REVIEW

Coming from a cinematic background, Gwendolyn knows how to create a piece of music that exudes passion and resonates within your very core. The track builds in emotion starting with an ethereal, blissful, soundscape which soon becomes bruised and stormy. It is teamed with expressive vocals, gliding instrumentals, and moving lyrics. “Something between right and wrong when all the witnesses are gone” Twisted Sheets has a tangible thread running through it which pulses with anticipation.

Tell us the story behind "Absinthe"?

I usually write when I need to make sense of something. I heard this mind blowing statistic that the fastest-growing segment of heroin users in the US is suburban housewives. I had to get inside of that. I couldn’t fathom what could be so intoxicating, so alluring and addictive to render you blind to everything you built and everyone you lived for. Tragic to think of from the outside, to be sure. But what’s it like from the inside? That seduction, that first brush with heaven… beyond comprehension. And so “Absinthe” was born.
